Although the event was a few weeks later than usual, Alpine served over 840 hungry customers from all over Northeast Iowa at our 13th Annual customer appreciation dinner on October 4, 2018. Planning and preparations take place months in advance of the dinner and it’s all-hands-on-deck the day of the dinner. Executing an event of this size is made possible with the help of Alpine’s 19 employees, their spouses, spouses, significant-others, and children.
The highlight of the evening is when the doors open customers begin pouring into Johnson’s Reception Hall.
“It is a joy for each of us to connect with customers and for many of us in the office, the dinner is sometimes the only chance we have see them,” said Alpine’s marketing manager Sara Hertrampf. “We are grateful for the support from our customers and serving a free meal once a year is one small way we can give back to them.”
in addition to a hearty meal of Mr. Rib sandwiches, baked beans, coleslaw, potato chips, ice cream, and beverages, we hold a door prize drawing every 15 minutes for attendees. The event is also a chance for cable networks to give back to FusionTV customers by donating many of the door prizes: Cartoon Network, CNN, C-SPAN, The Outdoor Channel, The Hallmark Channel, EWTN, The Gameshow Network, Fox Sports, NBC, AMC, The Weather Channel, RFD-TV, Tru TV, TBS, TNT, and more.
The morning after the event, nine lucky customers were randomly drawn for grand prizes. This year’s prizes included a TCL 32″ Smart TV, an HP Netbook, one year of Gold Internet service, Alpine luggage, The Outdoor Channel Under Armor gift package, Fox Sports cooler pack, a Walking Dead collector’s set, Crock-Pot, and Panasonic cordless phone system.
